The auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi has kick-started from today and the entire nation is celebrating this festival with great fanfare. Big pandals being erected in each and every lane of the country to welcome Ganesh Ji. The temples and pandals are all decked up with flowers and lovely decorations making the whole environment all radiant.
Well, not just that, from commoners to celebs they celebrate this festival with great enthusiasm and also welcome Bappa at their sweet homes every year. This year too, we have witnessed many popular Television celebrities bringing home Bappa. They not only shared their excitement about the festival but also told us about the preparations.
Beautiful TV divas Rashami Desai, Devoleena Bhattacharjee, Kanchi Singh, they have all welcomed Ganpati ji at their homes this year and share about how excited they are about this.
Rashami Desai of Dil Se Dil Tak fame has joined hands for a noble cause and revealed, “This will be the fisrt year that I will be welcoming Bappa to my home. I have requested my guests, who come to seek blessings, to get a notebook & pen instead of flowers, fruits or sweets. I will be donating these things to the students in slum areas. Let’s all join the noble cause & spread love.”
The bong beauty and Saath Nibhana Saathiya fame Devoleena said, “This is 6th year I will be getting Bappa home and I feel truly blessed. Although we bring him for only one and a half day, yet it is the best time of the year. I genuinely love and believe in him. I pray to him to keep my family happy and fulfil all their requirements.”
Kanchi Singh of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai fame brings Bappa for the past 21 years and said, “This is going to be Bappa’s 22nd year in my house. In fact, my parents have been bringing him home before I was born, so you can imagine what connection I have with him. He stays with us for complete 10 days. I just love this festival as everything is colourful and spiritual all around. Like every year I just wish everybody stays happy all my closed ones. So, when he comes to my home, I always tell him thank you for giving me everything and at the same time I also apologise for all my bad deeds.”
