We have seen many celebrities who tried their hands in the digital platforms and became successful like Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Saif Ali Khan, Richa Chaddha, Rajkummar Rao and many more. And, the new name going to be added in this list is none other than every famous actress of the 90s Karisma Kapoor.
The stars brigade is slowly moving to this platform, so is Karishma. She will make her digital debut from Ekta Kapoor’s Alt Balaji. Well, she was last seen in Dangerous Ishhq in the year 2012.
According to sources, she just gave a nod to Ekta Kapoor’s Alt Balaji deal, and said, “Karisma has signed a deal with Ekta Kapoor’s Alt Balaji. She is doing a web series for them. They have locked the script and dates, but everything is being kept under wraps till the big announcement.”
Karisma earlier in an interview said, she does not want to get back into films as she wants to spend some time with her two children. “It is my personal choice and preference. I think my children are very young and when we do a film, it takes many days to complete a film. I want to be around for my children. I think I feel happy as a parent,” said Karisma.
The Raja Hindustani actress added, “In a way, I strike a balance with masses and classes. I also have that connect with the audience and I am thankful to my fans that they want to see me. Commercials don’t consume a lot of time. I just did a book last year. I did a radio show. So, I like doing different things and that keeps me busy and active apart from parenting.”
“I want to propagate to young women out there, you are beautiful as you are and you must lead a healthy lifestyle -eat correctly and go to gym or do yoga or do something – everything in moderation – that’s all,” she said.
