Time and again Shahid Kapoor has proved that he is a doting family man. He always prioritize his family over work. Unlike others, he made sure to take leaves from his work at the time his wife Mira was pregnant. He took paternity break at the time of Misha’s birh and this time again when he welcomes his baby boy Zain recently.

Talking about the same, he said, “During Misha’s birth [in 2016], I took a couple of months off. This time too, I was negotiating to take a month-long break, but things didn’t work out. I will get only a week off from work. It is too short a duration, but such are the circumstances.”

He further said, “I am self-employed, so I think I have more freedom [to take leaves as per my convenience]. If I don’t want to work for a certain period, I can do that. Having said that, life is all about finding the right balance.”

A recent incident once again proved that Shahid is a great father. As per the reports of a leading daily, Baby Misha is currently down with high temperature. While Mira is busy taking care of the new born, Shahid is making sure to be on Misha’s side 24*7. He is having sleepless nights since the day she has fallen sick. The reports say that Shahid was awake for about 35 hours straight to take care of his daughter.

Well, it’s a happy but hectic time for Shahid and Mira as they have to take care of Misha as well as their newborn. Shahid is happy to raise a family. He said, “Of course! Having a child is the most amazing feeling. And we are fortunate that we are having a second one so soon, so [I am] feel happy and blessed about that. Family is always a big reason to work even harder. When you come back home to your family [after work], it’s a great feeling.”
