This year was the year for low budget movies. Actors like Vicky Kaushal, Ayushmann Khurrana, Gajraj Rao, Sanya Malhotra, Radhika Apte surprised everyone with their powerful performances. But amidst of them, there were some actors whose acting got unnoticed due to an illogical story. Their brilliant performances got lost in a weak script or a badly directed movie. 1.Saif Ali Khan in Kaalakaandi

Saif Ali Khan is quite a great actor and this year he improvised his acting a lot. Kaalakaandi was a black comedy film which was an epic fail on the big screens. But the weak script of the movie only had one saving grace – Saif flawless performance. If you have watched the film then you would definitely appreciate the efforts made by Saif Ali Khan.

2. Avinash Tiwary in Laila Majnu

It is believed that people feel that the story of the film including the name of the film was very boring. The only great thing about the movie was Avinash Tiwary. Despite being his debut movie, the actor awesomely portrayed his role of a man who is madly in love.

3. Tabu in Missing

Tabu is one of the greatest actresses of her time. She is talented as well as a brilliant performer when it comes to acting. But her movie was a clear fail.

4. Anushka Sharma in Pari

Pari, the genre of supernatural horror didn’t go well on the box office. Despite being a well-maintained effort, the story ended on an illogical note, thus failed to make a place in hearts of its viewers.

5. Anil Kapoor in Fanney Khan

This movie portrayed the story of a father who is ready to do anything to bring alive his daughter’s dreams. The movie shared a heartfelt story but there was no clear motive of the character. Anil Kapoor’s acting is quite impressive as a father and watching him was the only reason left for the movie.
