What is happening in this world is shaking everyone badly. Over the time, the sheer number of stories regarding the safety of women have been coming up and these are too disturbing. Bollywood actress Tanushree Dutta made allegations against veteran actor Nana Patekar and following her, other actresses and women associated with the film industry and other workplace are showing their courage to talk about the pain of being not felt safe.

Meanwhile, there are some people who take it as their responsibility to preserve the essence of humanity and establish it once again.

We are talking about a cab driver named Santosh who dropped Priyashmita Guha and her mother at their destination. But, this is not the thing we are talking about. When the cab driver took Priyashmita and her mother at their destination, the gate of the place where they were staying was closed. He instead of dropping them and leaving the place, waited with them for 1.5 hours there. Santosh said that he did not want to leave them alone at this hour in the night.

Priyashmita took to Twitter and thank him:

hey @Uber_India, wanted to tell you about your driver Santosh. Last night the place we were staying had its gate was closed. It was  1 AM. He refused to let us go & waited for 1.5  hours till we got in. Kudos to him. Mom and I eternally grateful

Santosh even refused to take the next ride as he didn’t want to leave them alone. He denied the passenger who was trying to book his cab by saying that he couldn’t leave them alone.

Ideally, there should be no difference between 1:00 am and 10:00 am, inside or outside the home. The safety of women should remain the same at every place and every time.

The driver could have easily driven away but he took it as his responsibility and had done his job perfectly. In this cruel world, he is the perfect example of humanity.
