To tell you, Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s Shikara portrays the story of the mass migration of Kashmiri Pandits from the Kashmir valley in the year 1990. The film exhibits the exodus of 4,00,000 Kashmiri Pandits from their own valley and their struggles after that. The movie is conveyed through the journey of a couple played by Sadia and Aadil Khan.
For the unversed, Aamir Khan and Vidhu Vinod Chopra have worked together in the movies ‘3 Idiots’ and ‘PK’. Both the movies were blockbuster hits at the box office.
Meanwhile, talking about Aamir Khan’s work front, the actor will next be seen in Laal Singh Chaddha which is helmed by Advait Chandan and it also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan in the lead role opposite Aamir. Laal Singh Chaddha is the Hindi remake of the 1994 Hollywood film Forrest Gump. The film will be released on Christmas 2020 after Akshay Kumar postponed the release of his upcoming movie Bachchan Pandey to some other dates for Aamir Khan.
