The society has always hung men on a stereotype that ‘men don’t cry’. We need to start normalizing the dialogue around it and teach men that it’s okay to express their emotions and not have a guard up because society has set some very harsh expectations.

Aamir Khan, the perfectionist of Bollywood, is someone who is known for letting his emotions out in loose without any hesitation. He doesn’t really care about how society will perceive his masculinity if he broke into tears in public. In fact, he has somewhat tried to break the bubble of men who are asked what they should be. 1. Bajrangi Bhaijaan Screening

Aamir Khan was all praises for the film and he couldn’t control his emotions as he walked out of the theatre after watching Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan. He was wiping away tears with a towel.

2. Promoting IVF At A Discussion At Jaslok Fertility Centre

Aamir and Kiran Rao have never shied in accepting the fact that they struggled while trying for a baby and they tried IVF (In Vitro Fertility). In the press conference, while a young girl was talking about her being born through IVF, Aamir was all teary.

3. Got Emotional Watching Sultan

In one of the press conferences, he openly said that he cried after watching Sultan as he felt it was an emotional movie.

4. Satyamev Jayate Launch

In 2014, Aamir Khan broke down at the launch of season 3 of Satyamev Jayate while telling a heart-wrenching story of a survivor. He couldn’t control his tears in front of the anchor or the press personnel who were present there.

5. Gollapudi Srinivas Award Ceremony

In the 11th year of Gollapudi Srinivas Award Ceremony, Aamir Khan was presented the award for his movie Taare Zameen Par. K.Balachander said some touching words, Aamir Khan was moved and was left crying.
