Aayush Sharma admitted that he was initially concerned about Salman Khan’s appearance in Antim: The Final Truth. Salman’s brother-in-law, Aayush, was concerned that his nomination would spark another nepotism dispute. Mahesh Manjrekar directs Antim: The Final Truth. Salman Khan will play a cop in the film, while Aayush Sharma will portray a gangster.

Aayush told News18, “(At) the beginning of the process of making this film, I was apprehensive about the fact that he is in the picture,” there will be many interpretations of it, including the fact that we are a family, that he is making this film to assist me in my career, and that it will generate another discussion about nepotism. I was initially opposed to Salman bhai being a part of Antim. I informed him that I didn’t want him to do the movie. In fact, I went around the family trying to persuade him not to do it. It was also because I was doing something very different from LoveYatri, and I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to do the film justice and match up to his hysteria with his presence.”

Salman, on the other hand, is certain he wants to be a part of the film. “(Salman) said to me, ‘Aayush you need to figure out how you do justice to your character and which is all that matters…..’. It was a major undertaking, and I felt nervous about his presence. When we first announced the film, there was some trolling for me, with people saying things like, ‘We don’t want Aayush in the film.’ When I told him, he said there are hardly 5000 tweets and if they don’t see the film, it won’t matter,” Aayush explained.

Aayush further revealed that he had requested his wife, Salman Khan’s sister Arpita, to get the Dabangg actor to resign. Salman, on the other hand, was enthusiastic about the project. In a recent documentary about the making of the film, Salman expressed his surprise at Aayush’s metamorphosis, saying, “I was surprised.” From Loveyatri to Antim, there has been a significant transition. He has put in a lot of effort into the film. His efforts will be recognised.”

Aayush and Salman’s debut film together, Antim: The Final Truth, will be released on November 26.
