Abhishek Bachchan recently mocked celebrities who claim that awards are not important to them. They’re only saying that because they didn’t win any, according to junior Bachchan. He went on to say that they put in a lot of effort for recognition. This is their field of expertise. Although there is a monetary aspect to it, praising an actor will make him happy, and an award is the highest honour. Everyone loves awards, according to the actor, and if you don’t get one, you’re either not popular enough or your performance wasn’t good enough. It will come to you if you are good enough, he added.
Abhishek was asked about the relevance of awards in his life and whether he believes he deserved to win for any of his performances during the marketing of his forthcoming flick Bob Biswas. He claimed that every actor strives for recognition and that awards are the “ultimate accolade.”
Abhishek mentioned that awards are crucial for any actor in an interview with radio broadcaster Siddharth Kannan. “If we are praised as artists, that is more than any award for anyone,” he remarked.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Abhishek has a diverse slate of projects in the works, including ‘Bob Biswas.’ The film is a standalone adaptation of the iconic ‘Kahaani’ character. Saswata Chatterjee played the original part. The film, directed by Diya Annapurna Ghosh, will be released on December 3 on an OTT platform.
Aside from that, Abhishek has a film called ‘Dasvi,’ which stars Yami Gautam and Nimrat Kaur.
