As if literally following his father’s footsteps, actor Abhishek Bachchan took to his Twitter handle to wish actor, producer, writer and film critic Kamaal R Khan best of luck for the launch of his biography, Controversial KRK. This came a day or two after his father, superstar Amitabh Bachchan also wished the critic good luck for the biography.

However, there is a subtle difference in the style of wishes from the two. While Bachchan Sr simply wished him, Abhishek added a pinch of sarcasm to the wish. Abhishek tweeted, “Best wishes @kamaalrkhan and good luck to all of us!!!,” almost as if giving the people who plan to read this book, a word of caution of the painful ordeal they may have to go through. Replying to him, KRK posted, “Thank you Bhai Jaan!” And then, the Guru actor has to maintain his witty reputation.

Abhishek had also made the use of this wit of his previously with Kamaal. In February, he had to decide to shower praise on Malayalam film ‘Vaashi’, by taking to his Twitter handle and tweeting, “Another incredible movie coming from Malayalam film industry.” Being his usual self, Kamaal decided to try and take a dig by tweeting, “Bhai Kabhi Aap Bollywood Wale Bhi koi incredible film Bana Dena (Brother, you Bollywood people  should make some incredible film some day).”

Abhishek had an answer ready. “Prayaas karenge. Aapne banai thi na….. deshdrohi (We will try. Didn’t you make Deshdrohi),” the actor replied, his words dripping with sarcasm, as he referred to Kamaal’s flop film.
