It’s a beautiful script, a very sensitive script, written by first time director called Sarvesh Mewara. When it is going to start, we haven’t decided but we look forward to doing it.”

He also shared that how his 6 year old daughter will react seeing both her mother nad father on-screen. He said, “She will be fine. She has not seen our films. She has seen the odd song here and there. She is too young, she is only six.”

Aishwarya and Abhishek tied knot in 2007. They have earlier worked together in films like Dhai Akshar Prem Ke, Guru, Umrao Jaan, Dhoom 2, Sarkar Raj, Kuch Na Kaho and Raavan.

Abhishek is making a comeback in Bollywood after 2 years. He was last seen in Housefull 3 in 2016. He will now be seen in Manmarziyaan also starring Vicky Kaushal and Taapsee Pannu.

On the other hand, Aishwarya was last seen in Fanney Khan alongside Anil Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao. After Aaradhya’s birth, she was also seen in Sarabjit, Jazbaa and ae Dil Hai Mushkil.

Last month, Aishwarya had confirmed that they are doing Gulab Jamun. She said, “AB (Abhishek) and I have agreed to do ‘Gulab Jamun.’ I told AB that he needs to decide what he wants to do after ‘Manmarziyan’.”

She further said, “We had agreed on the idea then. However, it was around the same time that AB decided to take time-out. After the hiatus, he returned with ‘Manmarziyan,’ which coincidentally is directed by Anurag Kashyap. That’s when the chatter around ‘Gulab Jamun’ began again, and we finally came on board. It is a beautiful script, and we fit the narrative perfectly.”
