Bollywood celebs have seen posting their vacations at Mauritius, to which many of the netizens were incensed about. Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui also outraged and criticised celebs for sharing such content while the nation is busy fighting with the second wave of the Pandemic. Aftab Shivdasani recently shared his beach photos from Mauritius, he was on a vacation and had been sharing photos on instagram. Aftab currently is staying in London. One of the Twitter user wanted to know where are these Bollywood actors in this national crisis, to which Aftab replied, “At home, where we all should be.”

Author Shobha De have penned fierce words for these Mauritius celebrities as “It is the height of vulgarity to flaunt those ridiculous pictures. Enjoy Maldives by all means. You are blessed if you can get such a break in these bleak times. But do everyone a favour… keep it private.”
Aftab was tested COVID-19 positive last year. “When it happens to others, you read or hear about it but when you test positive, your mind travels in all directions. It was a shock and surprise and some time to process. All my plans were on hold. I took hold of myself and changed travel plans etc. Thankfully, I was alone as my wife and daughter are in London, so being at home in isolation was easier.” he said in an interview with Hindustan Times.
