26/11 has had a long afterlife, and it has got entangled with the tumultuous history that still weighs down the Subcontinent.

Bollywood Actors Akshay Kumar and Anil Kapoor pays their heartfelt tribute to the brave-hearts who became victims to the brutal bombardings and lost their lives in Mumbai 2008, terrorist attacks.

Former Actor and now politician Nagma also tweeted to commemorate the gallantry heroes of our nation.

Both the actors along with several others saluted all the people who lost their innocent lives. The terrible attacks in which we lost many of our loved ones, along with the soldiers who died while serving and shielding the country.

One can never forget the wounds of 26/11 attacks. The terror over Mumbai for the three long nights, November 26, 2008, devastated the city, targeting its six major landmarks, while audiences watched the terrible spectacle, live and uninterrupted, on TV for over 60 hours.

It stretched from the five-star hotels, Taj and Trident, to the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus railway station, from where,  thousands of Indians, have poured into Mumbai, carrying with them a hope and a dream.

This was a well-planned series of strikes, using hand-held weapons, by 10 terrorists who trespassed the borders of the country through the sea. It was horror made for the people witnessing these kinds of attacks live.
