Akshay Kumar’s ‘Bachchhan Paandey’ was released last week on Holi 18th March. Directed by Farhad Samji, the film also featured Jacqueline Fernandez, Arshad Warsi and Kriti Sanon. Previously, during a media interaction in Delhi, Akshay opened up about his forthcoming films.
During the interchange, he was quizzed if he would like to play more roles of a villain. The ‘Sooryavanshi’ actor responded saying that he likes to play anything and everything. It’s been 30 years for him in this Bollywood industry and there are so many characters that are still pending for him to do.
The actor disclosed that he is dying to play those characters and has a hunger in him for his work. Akki called himself a greedy kind of a workaholic and explained that he wants to play a psycho and do comedy roles.
The actor further opened up that after a long time he is playing a character like this in Bachchhan Paandey and he relished it. Akshay said that his character is very scary but ultimately, you’ll fall in love with him. Calling his latest release a complete family entertainer he declared that you will begin forgetting what he has done that is the power of the story.
‘Bachchhan Paandey’ is the remake of the 2014 Tamil film Veeram. Akshay aced the role of a gangster, while Kriti played an aspiring director.
On the professional front, Akshay Kumar was last seen in Aanand L Rai’s ‘Atrangi Re’ along with Sara Ali Khan and Dhanush.
