Akshay Kumar wishes Neeraj Chopra to play him in a biopic if ever made on his life, says ‘Agar mera kabhi biopic banega… ‘

Neeraj Chopra, the name which has garnered immense popularity in last few days. The athlete created history in Tokyo Olympics 2020. Now, the news of his biopic is rolling among the netizens. Social media is flooded with the wishlists of the actors who should play his character in his life-story. When asked about the same to Akshay Kumar, he gave the most interesting and exciting reply.

In an old interview of Athlete Neeraj Chopra, he was asked whom he wants to see in his biopic if ever made. To which he replied that he would like to see Akshay Kumar or Randeep Hooda playing his character on screen. Now, In recent interview with The Quint, Akshay Kumar was quizzed about the same and asked if he would like to play ‘Neeraj Chopra’ on screen. Akki turns the table completely and came up with an interesting and exciting reply, “I would say Neeraj Chopra is a very good-looking guy. Agar mera koi biopic karega toh woh kar sakta hai.”

As soon as Neeraj Chopra’s pictures with the Javelin surfaced on internet, Memers dugs up a old picture of Akshay Kumar holding a long stick in his hand and captioned it, “Akshay Kumar getting ready for Neeraj Chopra biopic.” The Superstar was also asked about the same meme if he had seen. The Khiladi Kumar replied, “I saw that meme where I am holding a stick in my hand. It’s from my first film Saugandh. People started saying, ‘Arre, abhi se practice chalu ho gayi!”

Meanwhile, Gold Medalist Neeraj Chopra spills up his views on his biopic while speaking to Hindustan Times and said, “Don’t make a biopic on me yet. I’m still playing (the sport), and would like to continue doing so. I believe there are more stories to be added to my journey, and main chahta hun aur medal leke aaun. Jab tak career chal raha hai tab tak ruk jana chahiye (I want to win more medals. Until I am still playing, the biopic should be on hold). I want to focus on my game. I’d like it if a biopic is made on me, but after my journey is over and I retire from sports!”

For an unversed, Neeraj Chopra wrote history after becoming the first ever Indian to win Gold medal in track and field sport, Javelin throw.
