Ali Fazal, Radhika Apte and Rakul Preet arrive in style at IIFA Rocks 2019

On Monday, the IIFA Rocks event has been kick started in Mumbai.  The event is a curtain raiser to the IIFA Awards and many Bollywood celebs made their appearance at the event.  The event was held at the SVP Stadium and the celebs that were in attendance were Ali Fazal, Radhika Apte, Soundarya Sharma, Kabir Bedi, Rakul Preet Singh and Andhadhun director Sriram Raghavan.

Ali recently bagged a supporting role in the Hollywood film to be directed by Kenneth Branagh.  The movie is based on the popular detective novel by Agatha Christie. Coming to the other big name in the list, Radhika Apte, she was last seen opposite Dev Patel in The Wedding Guest. Check out the pictures from the event here.

The official twitter handle of IIFA Awards wrote, “Rakulpreet is all set to unleash the sparkle, in her all gold attire by @NaumanPiyarji.”  In another tweet, IIFA Awards tweeted, “soundarya 20 nails this chic yet classy look on the green carpet. What are your thoughts?”

Ayushmann to host IIFA Event 2019

Ali and Radhika Apte have hosted the evening and they looked stunning in their attires.  IIFA Awards tweeted the same saying, “Our hosts for the evening are stunning us already with their drop-dead gorgeous green carpet looks!”

The event will host performances by Amit Trivedi, Salim-Sulaiman, Neha Kakkar, Jassi Gill, B Praak, Dhvani Bhanushali, Ranjit Barot and Tulsi Kuma. Also, fashion designers Shantanu & Nikhil and Kunal Rawal will display their latest creations.

The show is a big hit all the times it was held in the past years.  Many top celebs will perform on stage in the awards ceremony to make it more entertaining.  The IIFA Awards 2019 will be held on September 18. The ceremony will be hosted by Ayushmann Khurrana, and will take place in Mumbai.

Andhadhun ranks first in the nominations with 13 nods. Meghna Gulzar’s Raazi and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat followed Andhadhun with 10 nominations each. Rajkumar Hirani’s Sanju received nominations in seven categories while Amit Sharma’s Badhaai Ho is nominated in six.
