We all know Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are the new lovebirds of the Bollywood industry. After months of hide and seek, Alia’s father finally confirmed their relationship and said that they are in love. His statement read, “Well, of course they’re in love. You don’t need to be a genius to get that! I love Ranbir… he’s a great guy. What they do to their relationship is something they’ll have to figure out.”

Talking about the wedding rumors, Mahesh Bhatt said, “Whether it’s heading towards that port called ‘marriage’ — which is an institution that needs to be questioned in the second decade of the 21st century — is something for them to figure out. I’m no one to hazard a guess when that would happen or which way the relationship is going. It’s life and life needs to be lived on its own terms. Let’s wait and see what tomorrow brings for us!”

Amidst all this, media, as well as fans, are constantly keeping an on the couple wherever they are spotted. A few weeks ago, a picture from the sets of Brahmastra went viral on the social media where we could see Alia all sad and upset while Ranbir Kapoor was busy on his phone.

Seeing this picture, netizens started assuming that Alia is sad because RK isn’t paying attention to Alia. Many fans also believed that all was not well between the two.

Opening about the same and revealing the reason behind her sad face, Alia said, “No! That’s my face when I rest. It’s my resting face. I wasn’t upset at all. I am very happy and I’m a very happy person but that’s my resting face. Some people call me ‘Naani’ because of that- I am always frowning. But, I wasn’t upset at all.”

Well, this puts all the rumors to rest that All was always well between the couple.

Alia and Ranbir will be pairing for the first time in Brahmastra which has an ensemble cast of Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, Dimple Kapadia, and Nagarjuna Akkineni. The film is slated for December 2019 release.
