Despite previously claiming that she was not against 5G technology, Bollywood actress and environmentalist Juhi Chawla went on to social media on Wednesday to make a separate point, which is that she wants to know whether 5G technology is safe for everyone.
“On Wednesday, while I was recording a video in Hindi and English, I said, ‘Today, I’m shooting for myself for the first time!’ There was such a racket going on recently that I could barely hear myself! I believe that a critical message was lost amid all of the noise in the 5G debate, and that is that we’re not against 5G. Although it does occur, we do not find it to be a problem. Please go ahead and bring it.”

“There is nothing that we are asking that the authorities have to certify, other than that 5G is safe. Would you please certify it and make the results of your studies and research public so that we can remove our fear? All we’re concerned about is whether or not it is safe for children, pregnant women, new-born babies, the elderly, people who are ill, and even animals and plants. We’re asking for that, only .” in her video, the actress said.
Just a few days after the Delhi High Court dismissed the lawsuit filed by Juhi in opposition to the establishment of 5G wireless networks in the country, and imposed a fine of Rs 20 lakh on her for the misuse of the legal process, Juhi released a video in which she discusses the reasons for filing the lawsuit.
5G wireless technology could potentially lead to irreversible and serious human and environmental consequences, according to the lawsuits filed by Juhi Chawla, Veeresh Malik, and Teena Vachani.
