Amitabh Bachchan goes down memory lane, shares throwback picture from ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’ Mahurat

Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan, who celebrates a humongous fan following on his social media accounts, loves to treat his fans by sharing some of the priceless moments from the sets of his old movies. The veteran actor recently took to his Twitter handle and shared a throwback picture from the sets of his blockbuster hit movie ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’ and went down the memory lane.

For the unversed, ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’ created history in the Indian cinema as the movie was there in the theatres for around 25 weeks in 25 auditoriums in Mumbai itself.

In the photographs shared by Amitabh Bachchan on his social media account, one can see the legendary actors of the Indian cinema like Dharmendra, Vinod Khanna, Neetu Singh, Shabana Azmi and Parveen Babi in one frame. The superstar even penned down a caption with the shared picture and wrote, ”T 3457 – Mahurat of ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’ .. from right Man ji ( Manmohan Desai); a bowed headed AB; Parveen Babi; Shabana Azmi; Neetu Singh; Vinod Khanna; Dharam Ji who gave the clap.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Amitabh Bachchan will next be seen in Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra’ with Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Nagarjuna Akkineni, Dimple Kapadia and Mouni Roy. The movie is all set to hit the big screens on December 4, 2020. Apart from this, the actor will further be seen in Shoojit Sircar’s upcoming movie Gulabo Sitabo with the super talented actor Ayushmann Khurrana.
