There is nothing that can compete with a Mother’s love. A mother can give up anything and everything for her child. Thus to celebrate this love and to pay respect to our beloved mother we celebrate Mother’s day. To do so Amitabh Bachchan along with Zee Music Company sung a soulful song with singer Yajat Garg. Amitabh Bachchan has collaborated with his Piku director Shoojit Sircar for the visual translation of this track.

The video of this song is like a hall of fame to our mothers. It is a tribute to all the inspiring and strong mothers out there. It is written by Puneet Sharma and it is composed by Anuj Garg. Throwing more light on the song, Shoojit Sircar said, “This video is not just for those who have lost their mothers, but also those who are fortunate enough to still be in their mom’s shadows. The idea first came to me through music. Anuj pitched the musical piece to me, as a special birthday surprise for his wife, on behalf of his small son Yajat Garg, who incidentally is the child’s voice in the video!”

He further added, “I thought of making a montage video for mothers, as the music really moved me, and I felt none other Mr. Bachchan could do vocal justice to the lyrics. So I initially sent him small video clips along with the photo of him with his mother the late Shri Teji Bachchan, asking his reaction. He immediately responded saying it was a great idea and agreed to do it! For me, it was a powerful moment to shape a tribute which speaks from a child’s point of view as well as a person with decades of life gone by. No matter the age, we feel our mother’s presence all the time.”

Amitabh Bachchan added a picture of his mother on Instagram and announced the song in the best way possible. He wrote in the caption, “Tomorrow on Mother’s Day a small tribute under Shoojit Sircar’s creation, Anuj Garg’s music, his son’s voice, lyrics by Puneet Sharma .. and my voice !”
