Amitabh Bachchan is currently prepping for the year’s most-anticipated movie Thugs Of Hindostan which is all set to release on 8th November. The movie has created all the right kind of buzz and fans are eager to see two superstars Big B and Aamir Khan on the big screens for the first time.
Well, the trailer, songs and posters have given us a reason to watch the film and here’s an interesting update which will make your wait longer for the film. Megastar Mr Bachchan has crooned a few lines of a lullaby for the film Thugs Of Hindostan and said that he was pretty excited for it. Amitabh said the song tells the depth of the bond between his character Khudabaksh, mentor of Zafira, played by Fatima Sana Sheikh.
Big B said, “The song tells you the depth of the bond that Zafira and Khudabaksh share. I was most excited to sing this lullaby because it is not everyday that you get to sing one.”
The beautiful lullaby is composed by the music composers duo Ajay-Atul and Amitabh Bhattacharya has written the lyrics.
He further added, “The lyrics are beautiful and the composition highlights the emotional journey of these two characters who have an incredible father-daughter relationship. I have been telling Aditya (Chopra) to put this in the album. I’m sure he will do it because it’s turned out to be a beautiful song.”
A source close to the film stated that the film’s director Vijay Krishna Acharya wanted to show a beautiful father-daughter like relationship and hence decided to put this song.
“He wanted to show the deep trust, the love and the respect that Zafira has for Khudabaksh and decided to add a moment of vulnerability between the two. Khudabaksh will be seen protecting Zafira at every step and they are inseparable souls.”
The source further added, “Mr. Bachchan was so kicked about singing this lullaby that he decided to record it himself and that too at his home! The initial idea was to make a short lullaby but Mr. Bachchan went a step further and converted it into a song. He is insisting that Aditya (Chopra) puts it into the album.”
