Anirudh Dave, the television actor known for his work in “Woh Rehne Wali Mehlo ki” and “Lakhiya”, was caught by the deadly Coronavirus a few months back and it was more of a death battle for him. He was tested positive in the month of April and was later hospitalised after his condition starts deteriorating. He spent almost 55 days in the hospital and fought his war with corona along with his family. He had a newborn and his wife left behind for 55 days, staying positive wasn’t a cakewalk for them.
In a recent interview with the Hindustan Times, he finally spoke up about his battle, he said, “My condition was getting worse and the hospital authorities called my wife Shubhi to see me. When she came I was not able to recognise her. My body and mind had given up. I was not sure whether I will open my eyes the next day. For 45 days I was on oxygen.”
He is still recovering and is very weak. The actor says he can never forget the hustle going on in the hospital during that time. He used to hear people scream in pain and it was very heartening.
He mentioned his generous thanks to his family, friends and the hospital staff. He also said that it is his good karma that has helped him a lot.
