Film director Anurag Kashyap is known for his outspoken nature and sheer candour with which he speaks about his personal life. Anurag finalized his divorce from his wife Aarti Bajaj in 2009. They met in college and dated for nine years before tying the knot. Aarti and Anurag have a 16-year-old daughter Aaliyah who lives with the former. Aarti is an acclaimed film editor, who also started her career with Anurag’s unreleased debut film ‘Paanch’. She has continued to collaborate on Anurag’s films running up to his last directorial ‘Raman Raghav 2.0’.
Kalki married Anurag in April 2011 after being in a relationship for almost two years. The two met while the filming of Abhay Deol-starrer ‘Dev.D’. Anurag directed Kalki in the critically acclaimed ‘That Girl in Yellow Boots’ and in 2013 announced that they were taking time apart from their more than two-year-old marriage. In May 2015, they were divorced at the Bandra family court in Mumbai.
According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, Anurag Kashyap and Sabrina Khan met at a party in 2014 and they instantly bonded. The report further added that the duo had been seeing each other ever since and also went on a trip to Europe together. Reportedly, the two separated within a year of dating each other.
Anurag’s love life once again grabbed eyeballs after pictures of the ‘Bombay Velvet’ director cosying up to rumoured girlfriend Shubhra Shetty went viral.
According to reports, the 44-year-old director has been seeing the 23-year-old for over a year now. First pictures of the two locked in a loving embrace made their way online last year, through a friend’s social networking handle. However, the director has never gone on record to confirm the same.
