Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli to start a fundraiser for COVID-19 assistance, announces the initiative

Indian Cricket team Captain Virat Kohli and Indian actor Anushka Sharma pledged to start a fundraiser for COVID-19 relief, on Friday the couple posted a video on Virat Kohli’s as well as Anushka’s Instagram account explaining about the fundraiser, Anushka said, “It pains us to see India suffer” in the video. Anushka Sharma’s Instagram post is captioned as  “As our country battles the second wave of Covid-19, and our healthcare systems are facing extreme challenges, it breaks my heart to see our people suffering. So, Virat and I have initiated a campaign #InThisTogether, with Ketto, to raise funds for COVID-19 relief. We shall all overcome this crisis together. The couple is aiming to raise 7 crores. They have also donated 2 crores to the cause. Many other Celebs have started a fundraiser, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Husband Nick have started the fundraiser and have raised 6.6 crores yet. Many other celebs like Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Bhumi Pednekar, Tapsee Pannu and Sonu Sood are helping in various ways to the society.
