And here comes the first look poster of Anushka Shetty from her much anticipated film, Nishabdam. While the film is touted to be a multi-lingual releasing in 5 different languages – Hindi, English, Telugu, Tamil and Kannada, the first poster reveals a rather intriguing aspect of Anushka’s character from the movie.

For the first time, Anushka will be seen essaying the role of a mute artist on-screen named Sakshi. In the poster, Anushka is seen in a rather pensive mood, painting on a canvas.

The look on her face speaks a lot about the pain that she’s going through. It’ll be beautiful to see Anushka blend into this rather challenging role, that of a mute-artist. Here, check out the full poster below and tell us how much are you looking forward to watch this film. Not to mention, the film also stars R Madhavan. However, his look from the film is yet to be released.

Directed by Hemant Madhukar, word is that while Anushka plays a deaf and mute character, Madhavan will be seen essaying the role of her husband in the film which revolves around the murder of a key character and the subsequent investigation to find the killer. The entire film has been shot in Seattle, USA.

Nishabdam also stars Anjali playing a US-based cop in the film. Speaking of which, Anjali had recently revealed in an interview, “Unlike the cop roles we play in Indian films, this role required me take special classes to understand how cops behave and work in the US. From their body language to the way they speak and hold their guns, it was all a very new experience and I really enjoyed prepping for this character.”

The film is aiming for a December 2019 release although an official announcement on the same it yet to be made. Keep watching this space for more updates.
