Immunity is human body’s natural defense mechanism that helps to fight off illness-creating pathogens. Most of you must have received a suggestion to boost your immunity during current times. Doctors and health experts also suggest improving the immune system in several ways so that we can stay healthy.

Our B-town celebs are also aware of the fact that boosting immunity will make them live healthy for long and thus they often share some tips and recipes on their social media so that we also get updated about their ways of staying healthy.

Here are some of them:

  • Malaika Arora: Malaika trusts the homemade and organic recipes more than commercial boosters. Sharing a recipe video on IGTV, the lady wrote, “This is a true blue make in India home remedy”. The actress cum model blended some Indian gooseberries, wet turmeric, black peppercorns, ginger root and apple cider vinegar altogether. She then strained the juice and suggested her fans to have it too.

  •  Anushka Sharma: Taking to Instagram stories, Anushka Sharma shared her secret of boosting immunity. “Starting the morning with HALDI”, she wrote as she wants to boost her immunity. Anushka and hubby Virat usually have their morning tea with turmeric, ginger and black pepper. The couple never skips keeping their body alkaline for which they drink a lot of water, lemon water and alkaline water.

  • Sonali Bendre: Inhalation (steam), a glass of hot water and an immunity booster smoothie are what Sonali Bendre takes to keep her immunity high. Her immunity booster mix includes spinach, walnut, carrot, amla, fresh turmeric, ginger, apricot, blueberries, cranberries, almond, cinnamon and apple.
  • Bipasha Basu: The ‘Alone’ star shared her secret recipe for making ‘Immunity boosting powder’ in a proper format on her Instagram handle. Have a look:
  • Rakul Preet Singh: Rakul Preet shared a recipe that includes a pinch of ginger, pepper, turmeric, cinnamon, cloves and 500 ml water. Boiling these ingredients until the water becomes half and having this will boost your immunity. You can also add honey if you want.
