Aparshakti Khurrana reveals his film ‘Helmet’ will decide he should play lead roles or not

Aparshakti Khurana, who is known to play comic roles in various movies was recently seen in Shraddha Kapoor and Varun Dhawan starrer Street Dancer 3D. The actor will next be seen in ‘Helmet’ and will play a lead role in the movie. Aparshakti recently revealed that his upcoming movie will decide whether he should play the lead roles or not. He believes that the reaction from the audience is very important. Helmet also stars Prautan Bahl, the daughter of Mohnish Bahl in the lead role. 

In a media interaction at dancer and choreographer Shakti Mohan’s Break A Leg Season 2 picturization, the actor said, “I think these all are wishes of my family, friends and my audience that all these things are happening to me. If my film Helmet connects with the crowd, then they might think about  whether I should play lead roles or not.”

He further stated, “This is the very first time that when I am playing an emotional character in a movie. I have constantly played comic characters in films. However, when I used to do theater, I have played a number of grey and emotional characters but when I began working in films, I ceaselessly have been doing comic characters and that was somewhat weird for me. I feel happy while playing an emotional character as it gets connected with the crowd.”

Aparshakti Khurrana came into limelight with the 2016 Dangal starring Aamir Khan, Fatima Shaikh, Sanya Malhotra, Zaira Wasim, Sakshi Tanwar and many others. The actor then worked in many hit movies like Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya, Stree, Luka Chuppi, Pati Patni Aur Woh and many others.
