Arijit Singh, the country’s most loved singer, has reached a major milestone today as the singer completed a decade in Bollywood. He has impressed his viewers many times with his soulful voice and heartfelt songs. The singer is popular for his versatile singing and that makes him highly admired by people of every ages. With his debut song ‘Phir Mohabbat’ that got released on 8th July, 2011, the singer became an overnight sensation. The singer’s fame has grown since then.

As Arijit Singh completes a decade, the fans are celebrating his success and have started a trend on Twitter addressing the singer as ‘King’ and ‘God of Music’ of Bollywood. The fans regard him to be the most versatile singer in the film industry. They are also highlighting the awards and honors received by the artist over the ten years.

In terms of his achievement over a decade, he received a National Award in the category for Best Male Playback Singer for his song ‘Binte Dil’ from the 2019 film, Padmaavat. The song’s lyrics were penned by the poet and scriptwriter AM Turaz.

The singer earned his first Filmfare Award for the super hit and iconic song, ‘Tum Hi Ho’ from the film, Aashiqui 2 and has received 10 nominations and 9 awards for this track. He has also received Filmfare Awards for songs including Ae Dil Hai Mushkil title track, Sooraj Dooba Hai (Roy), Roke Na Ruke Naina (Badrinath Ki Dulhania), Kalank movie title track and Ae Watan (Raazi).

This year, Arijit Singh made his debut as a music composer for the black comedy drama film, Pagglait. The album contained 24 tracks with its total length over 1 hour 30 minutes. His label, Oriyon Music released the songs.
