The media has been rife with the news of actor Armaan Kohli, who was arrested earlier this week under the charge of possession of drugs. During a raid conducted by the NCB officials at his Andheri residence, they discovered some amount of cocaine.

As they probed further into the matter, they confirmed Armaan’s link with the international drug syndicate. On Wednesday, the Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court (ACMM) in Mumbai sentenced Armaan Kohli to an additional¬†14-day judicial custody as his custody at NCB came to an end. He applied for a bail plea before the court.

As further investigations ensued, many follow-up operations were set in motion. Sameer Wankhede, Zonal Director, NCB Mumbai, who was in charge of these operations, revealed that these operations helped them uncover a total of 118-gram mephedrone and 13 grams of cocaine. They also made a few arrests, including two Nigerians. It all comes down to the fact that this might be a racket bigger than the one they had anticipated. The NCB are still digging deeper, trying to find out bit-by-bit, the details that surround this case, sources have revealed.

Our sources tried to reach Armaan Kohli and the NCB but both were unavailable for comment.
