Aryan Khan including 7 others will remain in custody till October 30th, Bombay High Court to hear bail plea next week

According to reports, the judicial custody of Aryan Khan, son of Shahrukh Khan including 7 other accused is extended till October 30th by a Mumbai special court. Bombay High Court on Thursday said that it will hear Khan’s bail application on 26th October. The judicial custody of Aryan Khan was supposed to expire on Thursday.

The other seven accused are: Arbaaz Merchant, Munmun Dhamecha, Nupur Satija, Ishmeet Singh Chadna, Mohak Jaswal, Gomit Chopra, and Vikrant Chhoker During the subsequent investigations, the NCB detained twelve more people.

On Thursday, Justice N. W. Sambre of the Bombay High Court adjourned the hearing of Aryan Khan’s bail application, which had been denied by the Special NDPS Court on Wednesday.

Khan’s lawyer, Satish Maneshinde, appeared before Justice Sambre, requesting an urgent hearing on Friday or Monday. However, Justice Sambre has opted to just hear the case on Tuesday, 26th October.

On the 3rd of October, an NCB crew intercepted an alleged narcotics party on the Cordelia Cruise ship, which was its route to Goa. So far, 20 persons have been arrested in the investigation, including two Nigerian nationals.

Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate R.M. Nerlikar sent Aryan on one day NCB remand till October 4, which was later extended until October 7. He was then placed in judicial custody for two weeks, until October 21.
