Since his arrest by NCB in a drugs bust case, Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan has been the centre of attention. Arbaaz Merchant, a close friend of the star kids who was also jailed in the same case, is suddenly becoming viral for a hilarious reason.
Arbaaz was photographed outside the Narcotic Control Bureau’s Mumbai offices on Friday, leaving the facility after marking his attendance as required by the Bombay High Court. Aslam Merchant, Arbaaz’s father, was also spotted posing for a photo with the paparazzi, and the footage has gone viral on social media.
Arbaaz Merchant is seen in the video being dragged in by his father, Aslam Merchant, to pose for a photo with the paparazzi. Arbaaz, on the other hand, expressed his displeasure with his father’s behaviour by saying, “Stop it, Dad,” as he walked away and into his car. The entire episode made the internet cringe, particularly Arbaaz’s face-palming. To add insult to injury, Aslam was caught giggling at his son’s humiliation.
Here is the glimpse of the video:
Following a raid on a cruise ship party where drugs were allegedly ingested, the NCB detained Arbaaz Merchant, Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan, Munmun Dhamecha, and a few others. After nearly 24 days in Arthur Road Jail, they were granted release by the Bombay High Court.
While Aslam Merchant categorically denied his son’s involvement in the drug’s consumption, the central agency said that contraband was seized from Arbaaz’s shoes. In a detailed decision issued last week, the Bombay High Court dismissed most of NCB’s claims against individuals arrested. The court also noted that there was no proof of a drug-related plot involving Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant, and Munmun Dhamecha.
