Iron Man was the first Marvel movie and it paved the way for greatness for the production house. Marvel Cinematic Universe then embarked on a journey which had its ups and downs and now 22 movies later, a culmination of all the characters and movies has resulted in Avengers: Endgame, MCU’s record-breaking blockbuster.
Ever since its release on 26th April, Avengers Endgame has broken various records across the world. Endgame also marks the end of various characters of Marvel including the likes of Robert Downey Jr. Tony Stark has been a revelation since his first movie Iron Man came out, making us fans crazy for the MCU ever since.
Recently, Iron Man completed 11 years since its release and on the occasion, Robert Downey Jr, who plays the role of Iron Man took to Instagram and shared a video where the whole cast and crew of Avengers Endgame can be seen wishing the MCU’s first ever movie.
RDJ shared a BTS video on his Instagram, wherein stars such as Chris Hemsworth, Chris Pratt, Robert, Paul Rudd, Chris Evans, and Jeremy Renner among others singing the Happy Birthday song, for the Iron Man movie. He captioned it as, “Happy 11th Birthday to IronMan 1, released on this day in 2008… ”
Iron Man was among the first installment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the same was directed by Jon Favreau. The film was appreciated from all the quarters and was also selected by the American Film Institute as one of the ten best films of 2008. Iron Man was followed by the sequels Iron Man 2 and Iron Man 3 in 2010 and 2013, respectively.
A journey that began with Iron Man back in 2008, has come to an end in Avengers Endgame, with various stars expected to bid farewell to Marvel studios after Endgame. However, it has been nothing short of a blockbuster farewell as the movie continues to skyrocket on the list of highest earning Hollywood movies and is on course to become the highest grossing Marvel movie ever.
