Marvel Cinematic Universe enjoys a loyal fanbase in India and the sheer fact that one million tickets of Avengers Endgame were sold in India in just one day proves that. The movie Avengers: Endgame is the last installment of the Avengers series that will get a reboot following the film.

Such is the craze for Marvel movies in India and this movie in particular that the websites including BookMyShow had crashed when the sale of tickets began. The website sold 18 tickets per second. This another level of crazy! Following such an immense response from fans, theatres have decided to take a unique step for the first time ever in Indian history, a movie will be screened 24×7.

Yes, you read that right. No kidding, at Mumbai’s Carnival IMAX in Wadala, the booking for shows at 3.20 am is already open. It is also said the bookings for shows post-midnight will soon be made available throughout the country in specific cities.

As per current rules in India, no movie screening should begin post-midnight, however, that trend is set to change. As per recent reports, a multiplex chain has got permission to screen the movie after midnight all over India. A historic decision well and truly.

“The permission came through today and we were informed of the same verbally. The permission, however, is given only for Avengers: Endgame. We are now sitting down to chalk the programming for these post-midnight shows. However, as of now, we are planning to have these shows only in A-tier cities and especially in IMAX and 4DX versions,” a source was quoted as saying.

Avengers Endgame is the culmination of 22 movies and over 50 characters that have been closely knit together, to bring an epic end to the tale in Endgame. The movie will be the longest ever superhero movie and is set to hit cinemas on 26th April. Be a part of history, go grab your tickets now!
