Ayushmann Khurrana goes nostalgic as he remembers his ‘Roadies’ days

Actor Ayushmann Khurrana, who recently received his first National Film Award for Best Actor for his performance in 2018  film Andhadhun recently, went down memory lane and remembered his Roadies days. The actor said that he is happy that the reality show is still so popular among the youths. 

Ayushmann expressed his views and said, “I am surprised that I was a part of Roadies 15 years ago, and it’s the 17th season now. I am happy that the show has gained amazing TRP and I am extremely pleased with Rannvijay Singha that he is taking it forward so well. Also, Neha Dhupia, Nikhil Chinappa, and Prince are my old friends and I wish them good luck.”

It was 2004 when the country saw Ayushmann Khurrana on MTV Roadies. With his speaking accent and quick wit, he was chosen to be a part of Roadie. It was surprising to see a Delhi boy winning Roadies and since that day, he is ruling many hearts.

Ayushmann Khurrana then stepped into Bollywood with Vicky Donor and the movie became a blockbuster hit. He then worked in Dum Lagake Haisha, Bareilly Ki Barfi, AndhaDhun, and Badhaai Ho, and even worked on some social movies like Article 15, Bala, Shubh Mangal Saavdhan and others.

On the work front, Ayushmann Khurrana was last seen in Bala with Yami Gautam and Bhumi Pednekar in the lead roles. He will next be seen in Shubh Mangal Zyda Saavdhan and further in Shoojit Sircar’s Gulabo Sitabo with Amitabh Bachchan.

The 17th season of the popular reality show Roadies will go on air from 15th February only on MTV.
