Ayushmann Khurrana’s latest film Dream Girl is breaking records and creating its own at the Box Office with ease. Ever since the film hit theatres, it has kept the cash registers ringing and on its second Thursday at the BO, the film added 3 crores to its already impressive total.
After two weeks at theatres, the film starring Ayushmann and Nushrat Bharucha has collected a total of Rs 110.80 crore. And with this feat, the film has overtaken Nushrat’s previous highest-earning film Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’s lifetime earnings.
Film and trade analyst Taran Adarsh on his Twitter handle further revealed that Dream Girl in its second week is currently performing even better than Ayushmann’s previous big blockbuster ‘Badhai Ho’.

Looking forward to the upcoming weeks, Ayushmann’s film is expected to overtake Badhai Ho’s lifetime earnings, however, it is expected to face a tough challenge from 2nd October onwards, when ‘Joker’ and ‘War’ hit the Box Office as well.
Currently, Dream Girl is already the number one pick of audiences who are spoilt for choices as Prassthanam, Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas and The Zoya Factor dropped last Friday.

However, Dream Girl’s single-day earnings are more than the combined business of all three aforementioned movies. Such is the love Ayushmann and Nushrat are getting. The film’s story revolves around Karam, a small-town boy who can talk in a woman’s voice and utilises his talent to secure himself a job as a phone-sex operator. His dual identity creates complete chaos and leads to hilarious circumstances.
