Bappi Lahiri’s son Bappa Lahiri shares an adorable throwback video; Calls him ‘greatest gift’ from God

Music composer Bappi Lahiri’s unfortunate death came as a huge shock for the music industry. He breathed his last on 15th February in Mumbai and passed away due to obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). The well-known singer and music composer’s sad demise evacuated a void in the hearts of his fans and social media has been abuzz with heartfelt tributes for late singer Bappi Da. Recently, his son Bappa Lahiri created abuzz on social media as he recalled the music individualist with a throwback video. 

Posting the video on his Instagram handle, Bappa shared a lovely video of Bappi Lahiri wherein he was seen doing a jugalbandi with his toddler grandson Krishh. The grandfather and grandson duo were sitting together and Bappi Da was seen developing music with the help of a lunch box which got his little grandson completely thrilled. Watching the video fans’ hearts melted, in the caption, Bappa called his father the greatest gift from God. He captioned the post, “The greatest gift I ever had came from God, and I call him Daddy. Jugalbandi With #krishh #bappilahiri” along with a heart emoticon.

Meanwhile, after Bappi Lahiri’s painful demise, Amitabh Bachchan wrote an emotional tribute for the singer-music composer. Taking to his blog, Big B penned, “his songs of films with me are and shall I believe remain eternal”. Notably, as per reports late singer Bappi Lahiri wasn’t keeping well for a while and was hospitalised for a month in Mumbai. He was discharged a day before his demise and rushed to the hospital once again after his health worsened.
