Bhavya Gandhi aka Tapu of ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ loses his father to COVID-19

As the COVID-19 cases are at their peek due to the second wave and people have lost their loved ones in this fight. Recently, the news came up that Bhavya Gandhi who is famous for his character Tapu in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has lost his father due to COVID-19.

According to Dainik Bhasker, the 23-year-old’s father had tested positive for the coronavirus a couple of weeks ago and was fighting for his life for over 10 days at Mumbai’s Kokilaben Ambani Hospital, as per reports. Vinod Gandhi was a builder by profession.

Bhavya hasn’t released the statement on his father’s reported demise as of yet. But fans are hoping and praying to God to give strength to him and his family to deal with this loss.

On the work front, Bhavya has left Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah in 2017 after working in the show as a child artist for eight years. After the show, he has done a few Gujarati films like Papa Tamne Nahi Samjhay, Striker, Baap Kamaal Dikro Dhamaal.
