Big Boss 13: Rajpal Yadav denies being part of it; says I love the format but have other priorities

The makers of Big Boos 13 are leaving no stone unturned in making the upcoming season an exciting one. News of popular celebs like Karan Patel, Devoleena Bhattacharjee, Zareen Khan, Rashami Desai, Ankita Lokhande being approached for the show is already doing the rounds.

The newest batch of the season 13 of Big Boss is rumored to have an all-celebrity roster, as opposed to the celebrity vs commoners format from last season. Among all the names of celebs that could be offered the show, the newest name arises of Rajpal Yadav. The popular comedian, who had been making news for serving a jail term for non-payment of a loan, has also been offered the show.

According to a source close to the developments, Rajpal would be a perfect celebrity for the next season of Big Boss. He said, “Given that the format of the show involves having at least one controversial celebrity in the glass-walled house, makers deemed Rajpal to be a great fit. The actor-comedian is known for being controversial and has recently served a jail term as well which makes him an interesting personality for the viewers. To top it all, his one-liners can add the right amount of entertainment value to the show.”

However, the actor to quash any rumors linking him to the show. When quizzed whether he would appear in the Big Boss 13th season, Yadav said, “Like every year, this year too I have been offered the show, but due to prior film commitments I won’t be able to do the show. I love watching the show and the format is also quite entertaining. But I am not doing this season. My best wishes to the people who will be a part of it.”

Rajpal has worked in films like Bhool Bhulaiya, Partner, Mujhse Shadi Karodi, Hungama, Malamaal Weekly to name a few. Meanwhile, Bigg Boss 13 will apparently begin on September 29. Considering it airs for 15 odd weeks, the winner will be declared on January 12, 2020.
