Bigg Boss OTT premiers on Voot this Sunday, August 8, at 8 P.M. The Bigg Boss house has been designed in a whole new look and the show has several firsts this time. The house will be colourful, lively with lots of ribbons and prints making the looks comfortable and warm for contestants while maintaining a contemporary style.
Omung Kumar, the ace Art and Bollywood director, and Vanita Omung Kumar, the production designer, appears to have kept the ‘digital first’ component in mind while designing the complete look. Here are the inside pictures of the house, starting with the gorgeous patio.
The bathroom of the house looks like a tent with its walls painted in floral prints and with bamboos.
Omung said that “This season, the core proposition was to keep over-the-top element alive. We have opted for the bohemian, gipsy, carnival look for the Bigg Boss OTT House”, which can be clearly visible in the confession room.
Omung said “Moreover, we also had to make it like a vacay home away from home, in a sense that when the contestants reach here, they should feel like wanting to stay here for long. Even though they may miss their home, they should still feel this is good, or better” and the swimming pool clearly evokes that vibe.
Living Area with Attached Garden
The living room has sliding doors to the garden space making the house look extraordinary and grand when the doors are opened.
Garden Area with Outdoor Dining Space
The contestants can spend time in the garden space without the fear of getting drenched if it rains, which also serves as an outdoor dining space.
Omung told about the bedroom as “The bunk beds make it very cozy and comfortable. It’s like when you’re out camping, you share beds in a tent. Also, I don’t think most of us have used bunk beds even during our childhood or school years. The carnival look is extended in the bedroom as well. Keeping in mind the tarot card tents, we have given the bedroom that look”.
There is a huge eye in the centre of the living room through which the host Karan Johar will be watching the contestants.
The house has several nooks and corners where the contestants could hang out together at any time, such as this arresting hallway.
The kitchen has also kept its bohemian look with its colourful pattern and cloth strips stitched together as curtains.
The house also has a fully equipped gym, which is usually an important aspect of the lives of the Bigg Boss contestants.
