BO Collections: Kalank rakes in 42 cr, Kesari crosses Rs 150-crore; RAW, Luka Chuppi going well

KJo’s produced project Kalank is contending to amuse the viewers at the box office. But, the flick, Which boasts of a bunch of A-list actors from the Hindi film industry, has earned around Rs 42 crore at the box office.

Kalank reached the theaters on April 17, and made a super duper opening on its first day. With a big opening of Rs 21.60 crore, it turned out to be 2019’s major opener and also the largest opening for Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan’s professions.

But, on the second day, the movie saw a steep decline of 46 per cent in BO facts. From a gigantic earning of Rs 21.60 crore, the movie dropped to just Rs 11.45 crore on Thursday. On the third day, the movie performed worse and earned about Rs 10.5 crore.

Kesari crosses Rs 150-crore benchmark

Akki’s starrer historic drama Kesari has attained a new milestone of Rs 150 crore in just a period of 25 days. Kesari got released on March 21 and made Rs 21.50 crore on its very first day.

The movie forayed into Rs 100 crore club during its first week. In the second week, the flick earned Rs 29.66 crore, in its third week, Kesari gathered up Rs 11.96 crore and on the fourth weekend, it made aroundRs 3.70 crore.

John Abraham and Mouni Roy starrer Romeo Akbar Walter, also called RAW, has made an overall earning of Rs 34.29 crore at BO up till now. RAW reached theaters on April 5 and bagged mixed reviews from both reviewers and motion-picture fans alike.

Ayushmann Khurrana-starrer dark comedy Andhadhun has earned Rs 246.43 crore in China in a period of two weeks of its release. It became the fourth top grossing Indian movie in the Chinese zone toppling Hindi Medium, which made Rs 226 crore.

Recently, Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon starrer Luka Chuppi has attained a landmark. Yes, the flick completed its 50 days run on ‘BO’. The movie Luka Chuppi has been bagging love from all sides since the day of its release on March 1, 2019. The movie is based on an interesting subject of a being in a live-in bond and problem that it resulted in. the film has managed to bring footfalls worth 95 crore at the Indian box-office and 110 crore worldwide.
