The year 2020 has been full of unfortunate surprises and there is hardly anyone who wouldn’t agree to it. The start of the year was a lot more pleasing than what it later turned into. It was in the month of March when the Indian Government announced the nationwide lockdown. And as the lockdown was imposed, it affected almost every industry in the country. Film making industry was one of the most affected ones.
The entertainment industry was hit by the lockdown and several filmmakers had come out sharing how the delaying in projects and the shut down of cinema halls led to losses of various projects.
But as soon as the lockdown was lifted and the government allowed the filming to start, many celebs stepped out to begin filming for their projects. Let’s take a look at a few Bollywood celebrities that wrapped up their films during lockdown.
1. Salman Khan
Salman started filming for Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai after the lockdown and soon wrapped up the film in October alongside Disha Patani, Randeep Hooda and Jackie Schroff.
2. Akshay Kumar
Akshay Kumar was among the first celebs to go back to work along with Vaani Kapoor and Huma Qureshi for the film Bell Bottom. The cast of the film had flown to Scotland.
2. Kareena Kapoor Khan
Although the actress is expecting her second child with husband Saif Ali Khan, Kareena went back to work after the lockdown. She wrapped up the filming of Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha.
3. Sunil Ibrahim
The film Roy which was directed by Sunil Ibrahim was finished within the 30 days amid the lockdown. It went on floors in September. It stars Suraj Venjaramoodu and Sija Rose George.
