Boney Kapoor is a target of credit card theft and has lost Rs 3.82 lakh

Fraudulent transactions of over Rs 4 lakh were reportedly carried out using Bollywood producer Boney Kapoor’s credit card. According to the complaint, on February 9, 2022, Rs 3.82 lakh was transferred from Kapoor’s account in five illegal transactions.

On Wednesday, a case was filed at the Amboli police station in Mumbai under relevant provisions of the Information Technology Act. When Kapoor discovered that money had been transferred from his bank account, he inquired with the bank.

He then filed a written complaint with the police. According to the producer, no one requested his credit card information, and he never received a phone call about it. Police assumed that the data had been collected when Boney Kapoor was using the card.

According to reports, money from Boney Kapoor’s credit card was transferred to the account of a business firm in Gurugram. The inquiry is now underway.
