Box Office Collection: Marjaavaan mints 24 Cr in 3 days, Bala to cross 100 Cr, Housefull 4 steady

The audiences are currently spoilt for choices with three blockbuster movies such as Housefull4, Bala and Marjaavaan ruling the Box Office. While Housefull stars a plethora of big names such as Akshay Kumar, Kriti Sanon, Riteish Deshmukh and more, Bala and Marjaavaan are more about single stars such as Ayushmann Khurrana and Sidharth Malhotra.

Talking about the most recent release first, Marjaavan completed its first weekend at the Box Office and has collected Rs 24. 42 crores so far. The film directed by Milap Zaveri opened up to decent figures, Rs 7.03 crore on the first day, and later collected Rs 7.21 crore on Saturday. On Sunday, the film witnessed huge growth and minted Rs 10.18 crore.

Starring Sidharth Malhotra, Tara Sutaria and Riteish Deshmukh in lead roles, the film had previously been hailed by Genelia D’Souza, Karan Johar, Maniesh Paul etc, despite receiving mixed reviews from the critics.

Elsewhere, Ayushmann Khurrana’s film ‘Bala’ that deals with the story of a premature balding, is working its magic at the Box Office. The film is all but set to enter the illustrious 100 crore club this week. As per initial reports, the film earned approximately Rs. 7 crores on Sunday and is slated to break further records.

Bala is the seventh consecutive hit film by Ayushmann Khurrana, which also stars Bhumi Pednekar and Yami Gautam in lead roles. The film directed by Amar Kaushik earlier opened up to a mammoth total of Rs 10.15 crore on its first day.

Moreover, Akshay Kumar’s film Housefull 4 is having a golden run at the Box Office. The film that stars Bobby Deol, Kriti Sanon, Riteish Deshmukh, Kriti Kharbanda and Pooja Hegde in lead roles has collected a humongous total of Rs. 208. 18 crores at the BO so far. On Sunday, the film despite being in its fourth week showed few signs of slowing down and added Rs. 1.30 crores to its total.
