After a booming weekend, various Bollywood films registered declined figures on Monday due to it being a working day. The Monday decline is usual but how much it affects which film can be crucial. Today we take a look at the Box Office Collections of some major films such as Marjaavaan, Pagalpanti, Bala, Frozen 2, and Housefull 4.
Starting off with Marjaavaan first, the film starring Sidharth Malhotra, Tara Sutaria and Riteish Deshmukh has been doing well at the Box Office so far. As per the latest reports, the film collected approximately Rs. 3 crores on its 11th day at the BO. It has remained steady in its second week, after opening to Rs 7.03 crore, later earning Rs 24.03 crore on its opening weekend.
In total, the movie directed by Milap Zaveri has minted Rs. 45 crores so far, and it aims to cross the 50 crore mark by the end of this week.
Speaking about Bala, Ayushmann Khurrana’s sixth consecutive hit film, featuring Yami Gautam and Bhumi Pednekar in lead roles, the movie crossed 100 crore mark recently. Running its third week, despite limited shows, the film has collected Rs. 105.87 crores so far.
Directed by Amar Kaushik, Bala is the story of a young man suffering from premature balding. The audiences have loved Ayushmann’s and his teams’ performances a lot.
Next up, recent release Pagalpanti starring John Abraham, Ileana D’Cruz, Anil Kapoor and Arshad Warsi saw a steep decline in its earnings on Monday. Directed by Anees Bazmee, the movie collected a meager Rs. 3 crores on Monday after minting Rs 4.95 crore, on its opening day, and added Rs. 13 crores in on Saturday and Sunday.
Meanwhile, Hollywood film Frozen 2 is also giving a tough fight to the likes of Marjaavaan and Pagalpanti. The movie has surpassed lifetime earnings of its sequel in India and has already collected Rs. 19.10 crores overall.
Meanwhile, another multi starrer film Housefull 4 shows no signs of slowing down. The film featuring Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Kriti Sanon, and Kriti Kharbanda and Pooja Hegde has collected a total of 207 crores in the Box Office so far.
