Canadian PM Justin Trudeau and Singer Nick Jonas congratulated Lilly Singh on Bagging Late Night Talk Show

Recently Lilly Singh announced that she will be hosting her own late-night show soon. Lilly is a famous YouTuber who became the first woman of color to get her own late-night show. Her show is titled as A Little Late With Lilly Singh. The show is all set to get air on NBC in September this year. Lilly also took it to social media to express her emotions.

As soon as the superwoman made the special announcement on The Tonight Show with Fallon along with Seth Meyers, congratulatory messages started pouring on her post.

Some of the celebrities also came out to congratulate Lilly Singh. The most recent wish is from Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau who wrote, “Congratulations Superwoman. You’re making Canada proud and making us laugh along the way.” To which, Lilly Singh had a hilarious response.

However, Lilly’s BFF Priyanka Chopra was among the first few celebrities who congratulated her. Even her Brother-in-law and PeeCee ‘s husband too had shared words of appreciation for the newest NBC host.

The veteran actor, Anupam Kher also had words of encouragement for Lilly. He picked up an old tweet by Lilly that was posted on May 2011, where Lilly wrote, “I want my own talk show.” Anupam responded by saying, “Kuch bhi ho sakta hai. Well done.”

Lilly made it more hilarious and had responded to her own tweet as well. She wrote, “Proud of you.”

Many other celebs also congratulated the Superwoman. Among others, the famous Oceans 8 actress, Mindy Kaling wished her as well. WWE fighters and actors John Cena and Dwayne Johnson to congratulated Lilly with some kind words.
