CBSE announced XII board exam results in an unique DDLJ style, starts a meme war over internet

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has finally declared the XII board examination results. The results were out at 2 pm on Friday. Earlier, The board exams for X and XII were postponed due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Well to everyone’s surprise CBSE shared the news through DDLJ’s famous Meme.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) took to their official Twitter handle to announced the result with a meme from the very famous movie ‘Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge’, where late Amrish Puri and Farida Jalal are seen saying, “Aakhir wo din aa hi gaya (finally the day has come.” “CBSE Class XII Result to be announced today at 2 P.M. #ExcitementLevel% #CBSEResults #CBSE” read the tweet.

As soon as the news was declared, Netizens started reacting to the post in a hilarious manner. Several replies along with memes started to flood on the internet tagging the CBSE handle. Currently, #CBSEResult and #CBSE are trending on the micro-blogging site ever since the result date has been announced.

The exam was scheduled to be held in May but was cancelled due to the second wave of the covid-19 pandemic.  The CBSE board had adopted an alternative assessment scheme to finalise the result.
