Deepika Padukone is back in Goa to continue filming for Shakun Batra’s next

For the last few days, a lot of Bollywood celebrities have been making their way to the headlines, but not for something appropriate. Narcotic Control Bureau has been busy questioning many celebrities as they are determined to bust the narcotic substance nexus of Bollywood.

Bollywood actresses like Sara Ali Khan and Shraddha Kapoor were summoned by NCB. In fact, Deepika Padukone travelled to Mumbai as she was summoned by NCB for questioning. The actress was in Goa when she received a call from NCB and she had to fly down to Mumbai immediately. The actress was filming for Shakun Batra’s next with Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ananya Panday.

As the actress received the call, her hubby, Ranveer Singh, flew down to Goa to be by her side. After this, the duo came to Mumbai together. Now, as per latest reports, the actress has travelled back to Goa and has resumed the work for the film.

As per the reports, Deepika is back on the sets of Shakun Batra’s upcoming film. According to a source, the actress was in good spirits as she joined the unit last Thursday. And since there was a break of more than 10 days, Shakun wanted Deepika to start light. Thus, the actress filmed a light-hearted scene with Siddhant and Ananya.

The reports suggest that the film is about four friends on a road trip. While Deepika was in Mumbai, the director is said to have filmed scenes featuring Siddhant and Ananya. The filming was originally resumed in September after moths of lockdown faced by the country. The film is said to be produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.

Deepika Padukone will next be seen in Kabir Khan’s ‘83’ starring Ranveer Singh in the lead role. As Ranveer will be essaying the role of cricketer Kapil Dev in the film, Deepika will play his wife Romi Dev on screen. The actress is also said to have co-produced the film. She also has the official Hindi remake of ‘The Intern’ in her pipeline.
