The outfit that Deepika wore on her wedding’s day has now set a trend so big, that other brides are copying her style.
Recently. a bride Ravina was seen wearing a Lehenga on her wedding day that is quite similar to Deepika’s Lehenga. Deepika married Ranveer Singh last year in Italy and her Lehenga was custom designed by ace Bollywood designer Sabyasachi. She was seen in a pretty pink Lehenga for the Sindhi wedding and one of the highlights of Deepika’s outfit was the chunri (veil) that had Sada Saubhagyavati Bhava’ inscribed on it in gold.
According to the Sindhi traditions, the veil was gifted to Deepika by Ranveer’s family. It is believed that the outfit was worth around 8.5 lacs. Although, recently a picture of a beautiful bride is doing the rounds on social media, in which the bride is seen wearing a similar Lehenga to Deepika’s. Starting from the Sanskrit script, everything looks quite matched to Deepika’s outfit. It seems Deepika is setting the trend when it comes to wedding Lehengas. Also, if a bride has been spotted in an outfit similar to Deepika’s it means other fans including you can get your hands on it as well.
Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone is currently busy in the shooting in Delhi, for her upcoming film Chhapaak. Very recently she shared a picture from the shoot and it received immense response from friends and experts alike. She will play the role of Malti in the film, an acid attack survivor. The movie is based on the real-life story of Laxmi Aggarwal, who was attacked in 2005, at the tender age of 15.
Deepika’s first look from the movie has been earning rave reviews and the movie is eagerly anticipated by fans. The film co-stars Vikrant Massey and will be releasing on January 10, 2020.
