Deepika Padukone looks elegant at her best friend’s wedding that took place in Sri Lanka

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, one of the perfect couple of B-town have made their presence in every media house headlines after their official wedding announcement. But now post their wedding they headed straight to the south neighboring country of India, yes our favorite stars were present in Sri Lanka. While the fans were guessing that they have been to the neighboring country to spent some quality time but all the guessings went wrong as DeepVeer were in Sri Lanka to attend the actress’ friend’s wedding.

How sweet of them, well one of the pictures from the friend’s wedding was shared by veteran Fashion Designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee, who shared pictures of the wedding which includes DP and her friend Srila Rao. The wedding took place at a beach in Sri Lanka. We can see Deepika helping out her friends in getting ready. Take a look at the picture:

On the work front, Deepika has started to work on Meghna Gulzar’s Chhapaak, based on the life of victim Laksmi Aggarwal and whereas hubby Ranveer’s previous blockbuster film Simmba had a Box-Office collection of Rs 350 crore at the worldwide box office. He is all set for his next release Gully Boy helmed by Zoya Akhtar.

Deepika in an interview reveals the changes she found over her life after getting married to Ranveer, she said, “I’m a lot more grounded now. I feel secure, I feel protected. When you’re in a relationship, there’s still a lot of nerves, you’re still unsure, no matter how long you’ve been dating. I guess, the terms boyfriend and girlfriend sound frivolous. Somewhere, it doesn’t carry that weight as marriage does. Today when we look at each other, there’s a sense of responsibility. The way Ranveer held my hand on the day we got married, November 14 was different from the way he used to hold it earlier. Or maybe it was just a switch in my head.”
