Deepika Turns Down Draupadi’s Role in Aamir Khan’s Mahabharat

Deepika Padukone is ruling the film industry successfully. Her talent and acting have made her a bankable name in the industry and most of the directors are waiting in a list to work with the Padmavaat actress. Despite having released only one film this year, the actress has managed to grab all the limelight towards her.

The actress has announced her next movie which is a Meghna Gulzar’s next film which is based on Laxmi Agarwal. Some of the recent reports suggest that she has been offered the role of Draupadi in Aamir Khan’s Mahabharat, which the actress denied. As per the reports by Mumbai Mirror, Aamir Khan offered the role of Draupadi to Deepika Padukone but she turned it down and said no to his ambitious project.

Recently, Aamir was seen on the sets of Koffee With Karan where Karan asked him to pick an actor that he wants to work with between Alia and Deepika, to which Aamir replied that both the actors are incredible at their performances and he would like to work with both of them.

Well, it been a commendable year for Deepika both personally and professionally. The actress with a huge success of her movie Padmavaat also got married this year in November with his longtime love Ranveer Singh. The two had been together for six years and decided to tie the knot this year in the picturesque locale of Lake Como in Italy.

Though most paparazzi were disappointed with the strict security in and around the venue, the couple shared images from their special days on their official social media accounts.

Previously, Mahabharat was helmed by Bahubali director Ss Rajmouli holds Aamir Khan in a lead role. The actor had earlier expressed his desire to play the role of Lord Krishna in case the film was developed. Now Mahabharat is a dream project for Aamir.
